CHAIN TENSIONING CONCEPT

A WHOLE NEW TWIST ON CHAIN TENSIONING

Tensioning chain saw cutting chain is now faster, easier and safer with the new Intenz™ guide bars from OREGON®. A tough rack and pinion system coupled with the Wedge Lock™ bar locking feature built into the bar itself lets you tension chain quickly, easily and correctly.

No need to place your hands near sharp chain or a hot exhaust system, nor deal with the adjustment pin problems associated with standard tensioning systems. All it takes is a combination spanner.

Intenz™ is user friendly, it makes it easier to tension chain correctly. Simply loosen the bar nuts, turn the Intenz™ pinion as far as possible, tighten the bar nuts and you are ready to cut with a correctly tensioned chain.

Simple one time removal of the tension-adjusting pins on any conventional saw is the only work required to retrofit Intenz™. The OREGON® Intenz™ feature is available as an additional, optional feature on a increasing range of OREGON® guide bars.
