Specialty sawchains for hand-held applications |
|
| RIPPING Specially designed for use with portable chain saw mills and for all applications where it is necessary to cut with the grain of the timber rather than across it. OREGON® ripping chains feature a special grind for cutting parallel to the wood grain. The top-plate filing angle is ground at a reduced angle to improve cutting efficiency when cutting with, rather than across, the grain of the timber. These chains should be used only for ripping. For ease of maintenance and replacement, standard chassis and cutter parts are used. |
