OREGON® Solid Harvester guide bars are specifically
designed and manufactured to meet the exacting demands of high
speed mechanical harvesting operations. The solid harvester bar
provides optimum performance and a long service life in the most
extreme cutting situations.
Manufactured using special steel alloys, the solid bar body provides
exceptional rigidity coupled with increased resistance to bar
rail wear and chipping associated with high feed loads and cold
weather harvesting environments.
OREGON® Solid harvester guide bars include
the Lubri-Dam feature. A dam that helps to keep lubricant
where it is needed. Oil in the bar groove is prevented from running
out of the bar tail. In tests, the thickness of the oil film on
the rails of bars with Lubri-Dam increased 135% over the
oil film found on bars without Lubri-Dam. Bar oil hole plugging
is reduced because the Lubri-Dam deflects sawdust and wood
chips away from the oil hole.
All OREGON® Mechanical Harvester bars incorporate
the patented CRADLE sprocket nose design significantly reducing
the risk of premature sprocket nose failure.
OREGON® Solid harvester
bars are available in 1.6mm (0.063”) and 2.00mm (0.080”) gauge for
16H and 18H chain.
SOLID HARVESTER BARS - JET-FIT™
The patented Jet-Fit™ mounting
feature is available on OREGON ® Solid mechanical harvester bars
with the following motor mounts.
L149
For drive sprockets
11-13 tooth
B149
For drive sprockets
14-16 tooth
L163
For drive sprockets
11-13 tooth
B163
For drive sprockets
14-16 tooth
These bars are specifically designed for a new
range of mechanical harvesting machines utilising a 15mm mounting
slot.
The L/B149 mounts have a forward mounting holes and are used on
guide bars of 75cm and longer.
Note: Guide bars in the Jet-Fit™ configuration will only
be available in 2.00mm (0.080”) gauge for use with OREGON ® 18H
mechanical harvester chain.
SPECIAL APPLICATION GUIDE BARS
A full range of guide bars
is available for the cut stump treatment with mechanical harvesting
machines. These guide bars apply the solution through an arrangement
of discharge holes on the leading edge of the guide bar to achieve
maximum coverage of the cut surface.
These guide bars are only available in 2.00mm (0.080”) gauge suitable
for use with OREGON ® 18H chain.
To ensure maximum coverage of the cut stump, OREGON® special
application mechanical harvester guide bars are available in both
right and left-handed versions.
